How Chicago Fire Season 11 Finale Sets Up Brett’s Exit
Killmer’s departure from One Chicago may have come as a surprise to many fans. However, the events of the Chicago Fire season 11 finale actually set up her Firehouse 51 exit. In the action-packed capper, Brett was faced with several life-altering decisions. Firstly, she was caught up in the adoption process of an infant whom she and Violet delivered during an emergency house call. While the baby’s teenage mom was willing to give up the child, Brett still had to deal with the bureaucratic process before she could claim the baby. In the end, she was awarded with the newborn.
