‘Chicago Fire’ Star Alberto Rosende Is Leaving the Series
EXCLUSIVE: After four seasons playing Blake Gallo, Alberto Rosende is set to leave Chicago Fire following his final appearance in the Season 12 premiere, Deadline reports. Sources say his departure from the Wolf Entertainment/Universal Television drama is entirely amicable.
Rosende debuted on the NBC hit series in the second episode of Season 8, titled “A Real Shot In The Arm,” as a reckless new recruit to Firehouse 51 who impressed but also disappointed his co-stars. He was initially cast in a recurring role but was upgraded to a regular in 2019, Deadline exclusively reports.
Kara Killmer, who has played Sylvie Brett since Season 3, is also set to leave Chicago Fire in Season 12. And while fans will see two fan-favorite actors move on, they can look forward to the return of Taylor Kinney, who will be returning next season after a short absence.
Elsewhere on One Chicago, things are also going very well. Tracy Spiridakos will say goodbye to her character Detective Hailey Upton Halstead in the upcoming 11th season of Chicago P.D. Over on Chicago Med, Deadline exclusively announced yesterday the addition of Luke Mitchell to the Season 9 cast.
