Chicago Fire Season 13’s Newest Romantic Couple Reunites in New BTS Photo
Chicago Fire’s newest romantic couple reunites in new season 13 photos. All three One Chicago shows have returned to production in recent weeks. So while no new footage has been released from any of the shows, behind-the-scenes content from the cast and crew offers a glimpse of what to expect from the series in the coming year. This is especially exciting for Firehouse 51 as they head into Chicago Fire season 13 with a lot of changes on the horizon. Including a blossoming romance between two of the show’s newest characters.
Thanks to cast member Anthony Lullo on Instagram, a new photo of Jack Damon and Lyla Novack from the Chicago Fire season 13 set has been released.
Romance isn’t anything new on Chicago Fire or One Chicago in general. In fact, they’re an integral part of the show’s story. Firehouse 51 has seen a lot of romance over the years. Some have worked out, like Matt Casey and Sylvie Brett, who got married in Chicago Fire season 12, and others haven’t lasted long. There are currently two active couples on Chicago Fire: Stella Kidd and Kelly Severide, as well as Sam Carver and Violet Mikami. If Damon and Novak decide to break up, they’ll be the newest members of the group.
As two of the newest members of Chicago Fire, the pair could bond over their shared experiences as they try to fit into the tight-knit group.
What makes this budding romance different, however, are the characters’ individual circumstances. As revealed in season 12, Damon is Benny Severide’s secret son, making him Kelly’s half-brother. Novak’s past, meanwhile, remains unclear, but it seems like she’s also dealt with some family trauma, as she initially refused to commit to Firehouse 51. Hopefully, the new year can delve a little deeper into that aspect of the character. As the two newest members of Chicago Fire, the pair could bond over their shared experiences trying to fit in with the tight-knit group. Whether or not the pair actually become a serious couple remains to be seen at this point. Chicago Fire has also seen its fair share of breakups throughout its twelve seasons. Regardless, though, seeing the pair develop feelings for each other is just one more reason to look forward to the show’s return.
