Chicago Fire Season 13 Promo: First Look at the New Chief!
With Chicago Fire season 13 set to premiere on NBC in just a few weeks, why not take a look at what’s coming up?
Today, the network gave us our first look at the show and more specifically, the brand new Chief played by Dermot Mulroney. This is someone who will be coming to Firehouse 51 with their own ideas about how they want to run things. However, that doesn’t mean everyone will agree with some of their decisions!
If you follow the link here, you can see a larger preview that shows there’s been some tension within the fire department over Chief Dom Pascal’s approach. There’s no guarantee that things will be bad, but at the same time, they’re different than what we had with Boden. Eamonn Walker’s character is still a part of the universe in some form, but it may be a while before we hear a little more about him.
While this may not be the longest preview for the upcoming season (it’s also meant to highlight a few other shows), it’s a reminder that the new Chief will be a big focus for what’s to come. One important thing to remember here is that not everyone hates Dom; we don’t think the show will turn him into a direct antagonist in every aspect. After all, wouldn’t a series like this be a little more dynamic with some depth and a few new surprises?
Also, keep in mind that heading into this season, there’s also a chance to see Severide learn more about his half-brother… and there could be plenty of surprises along the way.
