We don’t want to say goodbye to any Chicago Fire stars. Our attachment to each of the characters who work at Firehouse 51 is what makes the show so appealing. Unfortunately, we will be forced to part ways with both Darren Ritter, played by Daniel Kyri, and Sam Carver, played by Jake Lockett in season 13.
Kyri also issued a statement to fans regarding his upcoming exit, but Lockett remained quiet. The actor did not comment on his future, or lack thereof, with Chicago Fire until the afternoon of Monday, April 28. He posted a lengthy message on Instagram, detailing just how much the cast and crew and fans have meant to him over the last few years.
