Chicago Fire and NYPD Blue actress Kim Delaney posted a birthday tribute to her partner, James Morgan, just days after her arrest for felony assault.
On April 3, Delaney, 63, took to Instagram to celebrate Morgan turning 55. “Birthday Boy, 55!!!!! Your wife loves you, my guy!🌹,” the actress captioned her update, including two photos of an elaborate flower arrangement.
The birthday shoutout came on the heels of Delany and Morgan’s arrests on March 29 after an intentional domestic dispute at their Los Angeles home.
Delaney was arrested on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, while Morgan was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence, TMZ reported. Law enforcement sources told the outlet that Delaney’s arrest was related to her purported use of a car.
Ultimately, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office said it would not pursue charges against the pair because they didn’t have sufficient evidence to do so.
