Check the Fall TV Ratings: Tracker, Matlock, and Georgie & Mandy Lead Non-Sports Shows

Check the Fall TV Ratings: Tracker, Matlock, and Georgie & Mandy Lead Non-Sports Shows CBS’s Tracker is getting more attention in its new, earlier Sunday timeslot.

The Justin Hartley-led drama is the most-watched entertainment program of the 2024-25 new TV season, with a slightly larger audience than in Season 1. Tracker is also the highest-rated drama (in the 18-49 demographic).

Meanwhile, CBS’s Matlock is the most-watched new series of the fall — and has a 100% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the first broadcast show in five years to achieve that feat.

CBS claims the third highest honor this fall, airing its most-watched new comedy, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.

Some other interesting tidbits before we list the 25 most-watched shows of the fall so far: *ABC’s Matlock and High Potential both improved their respective timeslots — which is what new shows are supposed to do!

*Fox’s Universal Basic Guys (with a 0.8 rating) was the highest-rated comedy and new show of the fall, though its average rating benefited from a pair of NFL shows that were up.

*With a stronger lead, CBS’ Elsbeth is pulling in more viewers in Season 2. *Tracker’s rise appears to be The Equalizer’s loss, as the Queen Latifah action drama is now drawing significantly fewer viewers in its late Sunday time slot.

*The “vs. last season” comparison of NCIS and NCIS: Origins noted below is misleading, as NCIS Season 21 was delayed due to a strike and NCIS: Hawai’i Season 3 is not a rival to both Monday Night Football and postseason baseball.
