CBS Tracker fans ‘breathe a sigh of relief’ as beloved Supernatural actor revealed as new cast member in video with Justin Hartley
Sharing a behind-the-scenes video to his personal Instagram, Justin responded to fans during the reveal.

“We’ve been talking about Russell Shaw, my brother, all season long – this family drama that’s been going on between Colter and Russell – and we ended up making what I think is the perfect choice,” Justin said.

“This guy’s always been great all the time,” he continued, before suddenly looking nervously off-camera.

In the background, a series of grunts and swears can be heard coming from an unknown person.

“We agreed to do this together, but he’s in the middle of something,” Justin added, before turning to reveal actor Jensen Ackles playing Ms. Pac-Man with gusto.

Finally noticing the camera, Jensen dropped the joystick and joined Justin, both smiling at the camera — looking very much like brothers.

Justin also gave fans a sneak peek of what was to come in the video caption.

“Thank you all for watching @trackercbs!” he wrote. “We’ve got 4 more episodes before season 2.”

He then mentioned the new cast.

“I wanted to share some good news for all the #tracker fans out there. Enjoy.”

The news helped quell viewer outcry after multiple schedule changes.

Recent episodes have been delayed due to sporting events like The Masters running behind schedule.

Others have been replaced entirely to accommodate specials, like Billy Joel’s recent concert.

And the show has been absent for much of the past month due to March Madness.

Adding to the confusion – when the show aired in its time slot, the episodes aired out of order in February.

When Episode 2 was supposed to air, many viewers noted that their TV guides said the show aired as Episode 4. Executive producer Steve Harper took to X to clarify the confusion.

“It appears the network changed the original order of the episodes,” he tweeted.

Steve went on to explain that the change was actually intentional, as the decision came from higher up.

However, he clarified that all of the episodes would eventually air, albeit out of order.
