It confirms that the series Ghosts will continue to air Season 5 and Season 6 too. Ghosts Season 4 premiered on October 17, 2024, on CBS, concluding with its final episode on May 8, 2025. The creators released 22 episodes this season, airing them weekly on Thursdays.
Developed by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, the story follows two married couples, focusing on Sam and Jay, a pair from New York City. Together, they thought they hit the jackpot when they inherited Woodstone Manor, a stunning country house from Sam’s great-aunt, Sophie Brimble. They plan to turn it into a money-making bed-and-breakfast. But things take a wild turn when Sam has a near-death experience. Later, she wakes up with the power to see and chat with the many ghosts that haunt the place.
These spirits from various periods in American history remain stuck there, all until they can move on and reach the afterlife, showing up just as they did when they passed away. While Jay can’t see or hear the ghosts, Sam has no problem communicating with them after her experience.
