The Week of October 27, 2025

Hank Northrop, the son of former DAYS star Wayne Northrop (ex-Roman Brady and ex-Alan North) and Lynn Herring (Lucy, General Hospital), makes his debut as Liam on Wednesday, October 29. The character is Abe’s (James Reynolds) literacy mentee. Look for Northrop to interact with Reynolds and Susan Seaforth Hayes’ Julie.

Melissa Reeves resurfaces as Jennifer Deveraux.  She shares scenes with Billy Flynn’s Chad on Tuesday, October 28.

Louis Tomeo is back as Aaron Greene this week. He interacts with his TV sister, AnnaLynne McCord’s Cat, and others on Thursday, October 30.

Timothy Hornor makes another appearance as Adam, Leo’s (Greg Rikaart) former juror roommate. The character, last seen in August, bumps into Leo on Thursday, October 30.

Cary Christopher, who plays Thomas DiMera, has exited the soap, although he’s still appearing in current episodes. The young actor confirmed his departure on Facebook.

“Yes it is true. I left Days of our Lives several months ago, because I booked a role as a series regular for a new show coming to Amazon Prime in 2026,” shared Christopher, referring to It’s Not Like That. “Days of our Lives was such a dream set to work on. I started on this beloved soap when I was just 4. How lucky am I that I got to call it my home for almost 6 years!? I have been so blessed to always be busy working, but because of that I couldn’t be in two places at once, and I had to leave the show to go work on other projects.”

Christopher also gave a shout-out to Billy Flynn, who plays Chad, calling him “the best tv dad a kid could have” and noting that it was “so great working with” and “learning from” him. Cary airs this week on Friday, October 31.

Meanwhile, it appears that Alice Halsey, who plays Rachel Black, will also be exiting the soap. Halsey nabbed the lead role of Laura Ingalls in the Little House on the Prairie reboot on Netflix earlier this year. In fact, she was the first cast member confirmed for the new series. Hence, she’ll eventually be leaving the soap, and the role of Rachel will be recast.
