The popular Western drama series Yellowstone is gearing up for a new shoot, and this time, it’s calling on Texans to participate.
On Sept. 3, 2024, the production team will film a concert scene featuring country music star Lainey Wilson in Fort Worth, Texas. The casting call is open to individuals 18 and older, offering $110 for 10 hours of work. Those interested in being extras must be available all day for the shoot, which requires a morning call time.
Participants are asked to submit their details, including their name, age, height, weight, shirt, pant and shoe size, and a photo, to the Yellowstone extras casting team via email. The subject line should specify “Lainey Concert – age 18-39” or “Lainey Concert – age 40+.” Submissions should be sent to [email protected].
The filming in Texas comes as Yellowstone prepares to conclude its run. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series, created by John Linson and Taylor Sheridan and aired for the first time in 2018, has faced numerous delays due to scheduling conflicts with lead actor Kevin Costner and the 2023 writers’ and actors’ strikes. Despite these setbacks, the final episodes are slated to air in Nov. 2024.
Set against the backdrop of a sprawling Montana ranch, Yellowstone has captured audiences with its portrayal of the Dutton family’s struggles to maintain their land and legacy. The series has expanded into a franchise with prequels 1883 and 1923, as well as an upcoming sequel titled The Madison.
