Chandler and Monica and Ross and Rachel may have been meant to be on Friends, but in real life, many of the show’s cast members have had their ups and downs when it comes to relationships. Matthew Perry, who reportedly died on October 28, 2023, according to TMZ, is the only main cast member to have never gotten married. However, Matthew was in a number of high-profile relationships, and was even engaged in 2020.
Of course, Jennifer Aniston’s love life has grabbed the most headlines of any of the show’s cast members, with a 2000-2005 marriage to Brad Pitt. She wed again in 2015 to her Wanderlust costar Justin Theroux, though they split in 2018.

JENNIFER ANISTON
Jennifer Aniston has been seemingly single since splitting from husband Justin Theroux in 2018. But in February 2021, a source exclusively told In Touch. that she was dating a mystery man. “They have tons in common. He’s down to earth, handsome, he makes her laugh and he makes her feel safe. She trusts him.”
The actress never went public with her mystery man, though. In a 2022 interview with Allure, she also admitted that she doesn’t “have any interest” in marrying again, either. “I’d love a relationship,” she confirmed. “Who knows? There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, ‘I need support.’ It would be wonderful to come home and fall into somebody’s arms and say, ‘That was a tough day.’”
COURTENEY COX
Courteney Cox has been with Snow Patrol guitarist Johnny McDaid since 2013. They got engaged the following year, but called off any wedding plans in 2015. They’ve been happily dating as committed partners since 2016, though they have a long-distance relationship at times due to the English musician’s commitments in Britain.
