Let’s break it all down — so you can mark your calendar and not miss a single episode!

What’s New on Fox This Fall?

Fox isn’t just bringing back beloved series — it’s launching some fresh, original content that could become the next big hit. Whether it’s a gritty crime drama or a hilarious sitcom, here are the new shows debuting in fall 2025.

“Law & Order: West Coast”

A new twist on a classic brand. Think fast-paced courtroom drama meets California crime noir.

“Laugh Lines”

A multi-cam comedy featuring a stand-up comedian trying to survive suburbia. Think King of Queens meets The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

“Double Cross”

A high-stakes thriller where two FBI agents discover they’re hunting the same target — and it’s one of their own.

Full Fox Fall TV Schedule 2025 (With Premiere Dates)

Here’s a night-by-night breakdown of what Fox is offering this fall — including start times and exact premiere dates.

This may come as a surprise to no one, but a major theme of Fox’s TV schedule for the 2025-2026 season is animation. The network went all in on its animated sitcoms this season, which includes four of the network’s biggest comedies: The Simpsons, Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, and American Dad! (which returns to Fox after a long stint on TBS), as well as more recent hits like Krapopolis, Universal Basic Guys, and Grimsburg. Four of those shows — The Simpsons, Universal Basic Guys, Krapopolis, and Bob’s Burgers — will be anchoring Sunday nights this fall, beginning Sept. 28.

On Tuesdays, the network is pairing up sophomore dramas Murder in a Small Town and Doc, both returning Sept. 23. But most weeknights on Fox this fall belong to unscripted shows. The Jane Krakowski-hosted Celebrity Name That Tune has been slotted on Monday nights beginning Sept. 15, followed by the Jane Lynch-hosted Celebrity Weakest Link. Ken Jeong and Erin Andrews will host the new game show 99 to Beat on Wednesday nights, premiering Sept. 24. The Masked Singer won’t be back until January, but nobody can keep a mega-hit like that down.

In bigger news, Fear Factor is getting rebooted as Fear Factor: The Next Chapter (maybe don’t get attached to calling it that, though — it’s a working title). That’s also coming midseason. After letting everyone wonder whether former Fear Factor host-turned-podcast-conspiracy-theorist Joe Rogan might be involved, Fox has announced that the show will actually be hosted by Johnny Knoxville.

Elsewhere on the network’s 2025-2026 schedule, Fox is adding new scripted dramas to its midseason lineup, including the one-hour comedy Best Medicine, which stars Josh Charles as a brash small town doctor with a complicated personal life; the new thriller Memory of a Killer, starring Patrick Dempsey as a hitman with early onset Alzheimer’s; and the six-episode limited series The Faithful, which is based on the Book of Genesis and will air during the 2026 Easter and Passover season.

Fox still has two shows that officially remain in limbo: Accused, which Deadline reports could return someday as an event series, and The Great North.
