Bridgerton’s Nicola Coughlan enjoys date night with rumoured boyfriend Jake Dunn

Bridgerton’s Nicola Coughlan enjoys date night with rumoured boyfriend Jake Dunn Dear readers, it looks like Nicola Coughlan has found herself a new partner.

The Bridgerton star and rumoured boyfriend Jake Dunn enjoyed a cosy night out, walking hand in hand after a date at the Auld Shillelagh Irish bar in London on October 23. For the outing, Nicola wore a black dress paired with black tights and an oversized burnt orange sweater. Jake also kept it casual, wearing dark green wide-leg trousers, a white and red baseball shirt and a baseball cap. The pair appeared to be deep in conversation as they strolled down the street with Jake’s arm around Nicola.

Although neither have commented publicly on their relationship, Nicola, 37, and Jake, 24, initially sparked rumours when his Renegade Nell co-star Alice Kremelberg posted a picture of the two of them together on her Instagram in June.

They then attended the All Points East festival in London in August, as seen in pictures posted by Deux Moi at the time, which showed the pair smiling brightly as they kept a close distance.

Over the past year, fans have been curious about Nicola’s dating status, with many wondering whether she was dating her Bridgerton co-star and new on-screen husband Luke Newton. However, shortly after the show’s third season premiered, Luke confirmed his romance with dancer Antonia Roumelioti.

And according to Nicola, her relationship with Luke has never been anything more than a platonic friendship.

“A lot of people really want me to marry Luke,” she joked to Time in an interview published on October 16. “We have this beautiful friendship.”

The former Derry Girls actress added, “We love each other and have an experience that I will never have with anyone else. Isn’t it amazing that a man and a woman can have that kind of relationship with each other?”

And it looks like Carter’s mom, Imelda Staunton, approves.
