Season 4 has begun production. Valentine’s Day brought the ton a romantic gift of a first look at the next season. A Christmas present came from Netflix in the form of a table read teaser showing the cast — old and new — reuniting to get to work on the latest installment.

Has Bridgerton Season 4 gone into production?

Netflix confirmed that Bridgerton Season 4 started production Sept. 16.
With the announcement of Benedict’s stepping into the spotlight for Season 4, a teaser video of his getting a suit tailored specifically for the Masquerade Ball was released. Yerin Ha’s confirmation casting clip from Netflix also teased her getting into costume as the Lady in Silver.

Another teaser was unveiled in May at Netflix’s Upfronts presentation, showing the specific scene at the Masquerade Ball where a black-clad Benedict sees his “lady in silver” Sophie gazing up in awe at a beautiful crystal chandelier.

Will Colin and Penelope be back for Season 4?
The pair were confirmed as series regulars in Season 4’s Valentine’s Day news drop by Netflix.

What about Kate and Anthony? Will Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley be in Bridgerton Season 4?

Bailey later said himself that he made room in his schedule to return for Season 4 production on Good Morning America. He said reiterated the sentiment on Late Night With Seth Meyers. Netflix confirmed Ashley’s Kate Sharma as additional key cast versus season regular, meaning she will appear less frequently, but likely at least in an episode or two like they did in Season 3. Bailey is confirmed as a Season 4 regular.

Phoebe Dynevor came back for Season 2 as Daphne Bridgerton, or the Duchess of Hastings, but Rege-Jean Page did not reprise his role that season, and she confirmed her exit ahead of Season 3’s release.
