Yes. Bridgerton was renewed for Season 3 and Season 4 in April 2021, while Season 2 was still in production. The announcement was made on social media via Lady Whistledown’s Society Papers. “It seems we have a rather special announcement. Bridgerton will be back for seasons 3 and 4. This author will have to buy more ink…” the announcement reads.
When will Bridgerton Season 4 premiere?
Bridgerton Season 4, which will consist of eight episodes, does not yet have a premiere date. Filming is currently underway in London.
The show is expanding its filming locations at one of Shepperton Studios’ newly built sets, featuring elaborate replicas of Georgian and Regency architecture, including homes, buildings, Mayfair Streets, and more. The milestone, which took eight months to make, promises to envelop the beloved show in an even more immersive and authentic atmosphere, taking viewers into the grand world of the Regency period, according to Netflix.
Showrunner Jess Brownell admitted that it could be another two years before Season 4, so a 2026 premiere date isn’t out of the question. “We’re trying to get the seasons out faster, but it takes eight months to shoot and then you have to edit and then you have to dub into every language,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “And the writing takes a long time, so we’re in the two-year phase, we’re trying to speed things up but still within that.”
She added, “I’m really excited about what we’re writing. We’re getting close to the end of the season with the scripts. And I feel like this is some of my best work and some of the writers’ room’s best work yet.” We’ve really just completed our collaboration and we’re firing on all cylinders, so I can’t wait for the fans to see what we’ve got.”
