Dylan Walsh was involved in a car accident with family
As per reports from People, the actor, as well as his family, collided into a utility pole, which ended up breaking. After this, they ended up swerving and crashed into another pole nearby. The accident took place on August 17, and as per a statement from the report, all of the members of the family have officially returned home, safe and sound.
The statement also read, “The family is deeply grateful for the swift response of the Rumson Police, Fire Department, and EMS, as well as the staff at Riverview Medical Center for their care”.
As per police reports, two people from the car accident were transported to the Riverview Medical Center, citing being in pain as the reason. Due to the crash, around 8 houses in the area lost power for some time. The lines however, were soon restored. As of right now, the police are investigating the accident. It has also not been revealed if Walsh was the one behind the wheel at the time or not.
Walsh’s wife, Leslie Bourque-Walsh, also took to her social media accounts to share a statement about the accident.
She explained in her note online that the children had wanted to go to a nearby favourite restaurant, and after going to the place and making a pit stop at the beach, the family headed home.
She also paid tribute to their car as well, saying, “Today we got all of our stuff out of our Timberline- the EZ pass, the Thule on top, and said good bye… This car drove our family on the very best road trip from Vancouver, BC, to Rumson, NJ. All in all it is just a car, but so many memories attached to it”.
