‘Blue Bloods’ Series Finale Date Revealed With Special Following

While both fans and cast members have been dreading the moment, the date for the Blue Bloods final episode has been revealed. The cast has already dealt with this, as the final episodes were already shot, but now the fans will have to realize that the end is near and the show is about to go away forever.

Here is what the Blue Bloods season finale will air and what will happen after the show ends.

Blue Bloods Finale Date Revealed
The final episode of Blue Bloods has a premiere date. The show will finally end with the last episode of its final Season 14 on Friday, November 29. The show will air at 10/9c on CBS that night.

The series finale will air live on that Friday night and also be live and on-demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the finale airs.

The cast is still not happy that CBS canceled Blue Bloods (via Closer Weekly).

“I don’t quite understand it …? But it is what it is,” Bridget Moynahan (Erin Reagan) said. “I mean, we have incredible ratings … and there’s a loyal fanbase that would make the time on a Friday night to sit down and watch it, or make time over the weekend.”

Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg have also been very vocal about the cancelation, both saying they feel the show should still continue. Cast member Len Cariou also echoed that the cancelation “doesn’t make any sense,” but he is at least happy it is getting a “proper sendoff.”

Blue Bloods Retrospective To Air Before Finale
Before the final episode, CBS will also air a retrospective special to honor the long-running drama series. This will be titled, Blue Bloods: Celebrating a Family Legacy, and will air at 9/8c on CBS.

Blue Bloods: Celebrating a Family Legacy will look back at the 293 episodes of the 14-season series and celebrate what became one of television’s most-watched weekly episodic television shows. Entertainment Tonight’s Nischelle Turner hosts the retrospective. It includes interviews with the stars and guest stars who share memories and behind-the-scenes stories.

It will also “look inside the famous family dinner scene, where viewers learn family dinner secrets straight from the Reagans’ table” (via Deadline).

The Blue Bloods Season 14 finale, ending the series for good, will air on Friday night, November 29, at 10/9c on CBS. There will also be a retrospective special airing before the finale at 9/8c, also on CBS.
