Len Cariou leads the family as retired New York Police Commissioner Henry Reagan; his son, Frank (Tom Selleck), plays the current PC; Frank’s son, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), plays a detective and youngest son, Jamie (Will Estes), is a sergeant; Frank’s daughter, Erin (Bridget Moynahan), is an assistant district attorney and has a daughter, Nicky (Sami Gayle).
Although the show began with many other stars — including Jennifer Esposito as Detective Jackie Curatola — the six actors above are the only ones who have been on the show since its inception and are still on the series.
CBS announced in November 2023 that season 14 would be the show’s final season. Viewers were treated to the first batch of episodes beginning in February 2024, with the second part of the final season premiering in October of that year.

“At 60, I’ve been able to do a lot. I’ve been in love, I’ve traveled, I’ve had kids, I’ve had some business success, and a lot of other things,” Chock said in the first episode, which aired in September 2024. “But I’m lonely. I want someone in my life, and that’s why I’m here.”
