Blue Bloods fans will get at least one more look from original cast member Jennifer Esposito, as her Jackie Curatola returns for the start of the show’s farewell season.
As previously reported, the family/cop drama’s 18-episode final season will be split into two blocks of episodes — one 10-episode block premiering this Friday, February 16, with the final eight episodes coming next fall.

Elsewhere in the episode, Eddie faces backlash when she tries to help a woman who accuses a sergeant of rape; Jamie clashes with Joe Hill (returning guest star Will Hochman), when he interferes with Jamie’s undercover operation with her nephews; and Frank is caught off guard when Mayor Chase publicly proposes bringing back the Police Commission.
Esposito was a mainstay on the family drama/procedural for its first two seasons, then left at the start of Season 3. The TV veteran most recently played Jackie in the Season 13 finale of Blue Bloods, when Jackie, Danny, and Baez teamed up to investigate a murder that had traces of serial killer Dr. Leonard Walker.
