Big Update on Virgin River Season 7

Although Virgin River Season 6 only premiered in December, fans are already eager for the next chapter. While Netflix hasn’t yet confirmed when Season 7 will arrive, series star Alexandra Breckenridge (who plays Mel Monroe) recently gave fans a peek behind the scenes via Instagram.

In a video shared to her Story, Breckenridge appeared poised as always—but her voice and expression revealed just how drained she is from filming. It’s clear she’s counting down the days until production wraps and she can finally take a break.

👥 New Additions to the Cast

Season 7 won’t just bring back familiar faces—it’s also introducing some exciting newcomers:

  • Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries) will portray Victoria, a former police officer who left the force after being injured in the line of duty. She now works for the state medical board and her arrival in Virgin River is bound to complicate things—especially for Doc Mullins (Tim Matheson), who was left without a medical license at the end of Season 6.

  • Cody Kearsley (Riverdale) will step into the role of Clay, a rugged rodeo hand searching for the younger sister he lost contact with during their teen years. His storyline promises both emotional depth and a bit of edge.

⏳ When Will Season 7 Be Released?

Netflix hasn’t revealed a premiere date or even a general timeframe yet. But with production still underway, it’s possible Season 7 could debut sometime in 2025, depending on how long post-production takes.
