“Big Bang Theory” Star Johnny Galecki Reveals He Is Married and Has Welcomed a Baby Girl

Johnny Galecki has primarily kept his love life out of the limelight, but he recently shared a big update regarding his romantic relationship. In an interview with Architectural Digest for the publication’s March issue, which was published on February 7, 2024, the Big Bang Theory star revealed that he privately married Morgan Galecki and that the two of them also welcomed a baby girl, Oona Evelena.

The actor didn’t disclose the exact dates of his wedding and his daughter’s birth, but he did drop a hint when he explained that his little girl still hadn’t made her debut when he did the photoshoot for the magazine and that she was born “soon after” the shoot, so she’s probably a few months old. The article also left another clue by publishing a photo of Oona’s nursery amid the spread of shots of his Nashville mansion. The picture demonstrates that his daughter’s room has a gold-painted cabin bed, an antique Persian rug, a large stuffed rabbit, printed wallpaper, and leather tiles on the ceiling.

Right after the outlet published the story, Galecki took to Instagram to thank the team who worked on the piece, which he called “the lovely profile on the beautiful backdrop of our lives as they stand and smile today.” He also shared that the couple will preserve the keepsake. “We will place it in our family time capsule and cherish it for many, many years,” Galecki added. Along with the heartfelt caption, the actor also uploaded several photos of his home, which were taken during his shoot.

Oona is Galecki’s second child. The Roseanne actor also shares a son, Orbison, with his former girlfriend, Alaina Meyer, whom he dated for two years until they ended their relationship in 2020. Orbison was born in December 2019, so he’s now four years old.

Galecki doesn’t often post about his family on social media—the last update he shared was over a year ago when he took his son to Disney World. Ever since The Big Bang Theory ended in 2019, Galecki has also kept a low profile in the media. “I think this is the first interview I’ve agreed to do in almost four years,” he revealed to Architectural Digest.
