Virgin River star Benjamin Hollingsworth is offering fans their first real peek into Season 7—and it’s shaping up to be one of Brady’s messiest chapters yet.
The Season 6 finale left Brady blindsided after Lark vanished with all his money. Hollingsworth confirms that Season 7 launches with Brady on a mission. “He goes to try and find Lark,” he tells PEOPLE. “Tracking her down forces him to confront what really happened—and what he’s supposed to do once he gets the money back.”
But that’s only half the chaos.
Brady also confessed his lingering feelings for Brie, moments before Mike proposed to her. And while Hollingsworth won’t call it a full-blown love triangle this time, he teases an emotional roller coaster. “It’s a season-long journey with highs that will make fans happy—and lows that will probably frustrate them,” he says.
Netflix has already renewed Virgin River through Season 8, making it the streamer’s longest-running English-language drama ever.
Between seasons, Hollingsworth jumped straight into filming Karen Kingsbury’s The Christmas Ring in Nashville—a welcome change of pace for the actor and his family.
