Beloved ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star Passes Away at 45 md14

Rachael Carpani, an Australian actress who appeared in NCIS: Los Angeles, has died at age 45.

According to a social media post from her sister Georgia Carpani, the actress passed away on Dec. 7 following a long battle with chronic illness.

Carpani gained widespread recognition for portraying Jodi Fountain on the Australian television drama McLeod’s Daughters, a role she played from 2001 through 2009.

She also made an appearance in the first season of NCIS: Los Angeles and later starred in the Australian soap opera Home and Away. Her film credits include Ben Affleck’s 2020 movie The Way Back.
