The Golden Bachelor’s disappointed fans have spoken out after Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist announced their divorce.
Taking to social media with rage many accused the estranged couple of wasting their time only to split three months after their emotionally charged televised wedding.
On Friday, Gerry and Theresa sent shockwaves across the country as they disclosed the news of their separation during an appearance on Good Morning America.
The retired restauranter stated: “Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations and we’ve looked closely at our situation.
“Our living situation and so forth and we’ve kind of come to the conclusion, mutually, that it’s probably time for us to dissolve our marriage.”
Theresa thanked fans for their support and continued: “I don’t think we can tell you how many people told us that it gave them so much hope, we want none of that to change for anybody.”
Although they didn’t divulge the reasons for their split, they hinted at having trouble deciding where to live.
While Theresa resides in New Jersey as a financial services professional, Gerry lives in Indiana.
A disappointed @DeePozar added: “So they got free vacations around the world and 15 minutes of fame. Who still believes that show is real?”
