As SEAL Team nears its end, David Boreanaz reveals a scene that makes the ending feel more real

As SEAL Team nears its end, David Boreanaz reveals a scene that makes the ending feel more real There are a lot of shows that end and get canceled in 2024, including SEAL Team. The military drama will end after its current seventh season, and Bravo’s final mission is closer than ever. The final season has been a hit on the streaming service, thanks to Paramount+ subscribers, and fans are likely eager to see how the story ends. Now, David Boreanaz reveals a specific scene that makes the ending feel more real than ever.

In late 2023, it was announced that SEAL Team would be ending after Season 7, but it seemed like the end was still far away at that point. Then filming for the final season began and the reality set in that fans would soon have to say goodbye to Bravo. As if fans needed another reminder that the series is coming to an end in a few weeks, Boreanaz reposted a photo from the show’s official Instagram account, revealing that it was in fact the “last shot of the series,” and I was like, I’m so overwhelmed, because I’m really starting to realize that the end of the series is near. That feeling isn’t helped by the fact that stills from the final season are now being released, including the final photo above. The post also asked fans to speculate on what Jason Hayes is calling. The question was asked in a joking manner, but it actually makes me uncomfortable just thinking about it.

Back in March, David Boreanaz shared a message of gratitude to fans for his time on the series, as well as thanking the cast and crew. Honestly, it’s still hard to believe that SEAL Team is coming to an end, especially since it’s one of Paramount+’s best original shows. However, Boreanaz is ready for the show to end, as his body may not be able to handle much more wear and tear, as he explained. The 55-year-old has been performing stunts throughout his career in general, so it makes sense that he would be ready to leave the show.

As for the plot of the series finale, that’s still unknown. So it’s hard to say whether every member of Bravo will survive. It’s likely that the team and fans are still mourning the loss of Clay Spenser, played by Max Thieriot. Still, it wouldn’t be surprising if SEAL Team kills off a person or two in the finale. With that said, I hope the final shot David Boreanaz teases signals not a moment of tragedy but one of pure heroism — and satisfaction for viewers.

New episodes of SEAL Team will debut Sundays on Paramount+ as part of the 2024 TV schedule, with just two more seasons left.
