Disney+ has confirmed that The Twilight Saga is available to watch in full on the streaming site.
Revealing the news on X/Twitter today (May 1), Disney+’s account shared a poster of Edward and Bella looking predictably broody alongside the confirmation that all five movies have now been added to the platform.
“You better hold on tight, spider monkey… ALL FIVE FILMS in The Twilight Saga are now streaming on Disney+,” the tweet read.
Based on Stephenie Meyer’s book series of the same name, Twilight premiered in 2008 and starred Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, a 17-year-old high school student who recently moved from Arizona to Forks, Washington.
After moving to Forks, Bella found her destiny intertwined with the supernatural, finding herself in caught in a love triangle with 104-year-old vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner).
Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Anna Kendrick and Kellan Lutz also starred in the franchise.
The movie went on to be a massive commercial success, spawning sequels New Moon in 2009, Eclipse in 2010. Breaking Dawn Part One followed in 2011 and Part Two the year after, with the sequels collectively grossing over $3.4 billion worldwide.
Meyer has since gone on to write two further books in the franchise: Midnight Sun, which tells the events of the first book from Edward’s perspective, and Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined, a gender-swapped version of Twilight which tells the story of Edythe Cullen and Beaufort Swan.
There’s also a Twilight TV reboot reportedly in the works, with The Hollywood Reporter revealing last April that Lionsgate was in the early stages of adapting the franchise for the small screen.
