Eileen Davidson, the ‘Y&R’ icon, showcased a different side of her fashion sense at the Daytime Emmys.
The Young and the Restless fan favorite Eileen Davidson, 66, brought her fashion A-game to the Daytime Emmys red carpet.
Davidson was nominated for Lead Actress at the 52nd Daytime Emmy Awards for her portrayal of Ashley Abbott on the hit CBS soap. The talented actress has been playing the role for over four decades, so this wasn’t her first Daytime Emmy rodeo.
Instead of the usual formal gown, Davidson showcased a different side of her fashion sense by opting for a pantsuit with a twist for the annual event. Davidson sported a black pant suit with a sheer top to add some flair.
The suit fit her like a glove, with the jacket covering her black lace top, as Davidson completed her look with a classic updo hairstyle.

Y&R fans got another glimpse of Davidson’s stylish look and ageless appearance thanks to her on-screen daughter, Melissa Ordway (Abby), who shared a carousel of photos of her with her co-stars on Instagram.
It was smiles all around as Davidson and Ordway reunited at the event, as the fourth photo featuring the duo posing together. Both ladies were on fire as Ordway stunned in a strapless red dress.
Davidson was nominated for the storyline focusing on Ashley’s struggles with dissociative identity disorder. Speaking with Soap Opera Digest, Davidson gave props to her co-stars Peter Bergman (Jack), Beth Maitland (Traci), and Jason Thompson (Billy) for the scenes she submitted as the Abbott family tries to help Ashley, calling her nomination a group effort because of them.
Unfortunately, The Young and the Restless legend didn’t take home the Emmy, as the honor went to General Hospital star Nancy Lee Grahn for her portrayal of Alexis Davis.
Win or lose, Davidson appeared to have a good time at the show, and she looked fabulous in the process.
