After a Hilarious Scene from The Big Bang Theory, Leonard Actor Broke Into Tears. He Was Reminded of His School Days

There are a lot of things going on in The Big Rise Theory that may seem familiar. One actor discovered that he shares some unpleasant experiences with the character he plays.

The Big Bang Theory is one of the most popular sitcoms. Fans still eagerly return to this production, recalling the funniest scenes. But while these entertained audiences, they may not necessarily have been as funny for the actors who had to play them.

Such was the case with Johnny Galecki, who played the role of Leonard in The Big Bang Theory. The actor doesn’t have the best memories of the filming of one scene in the episode 6 of season 1, which focuses on Penny’s Halloween party. In it, Leonard is humiliated by Penny’s ex-boyfriend Kurt when he picks him up.

As Galecki confessed, the scene brought back memories of his school days, which are not among the pleasant ones, making him cry. His commentary on the situation appeared in the book The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story.

” Him picking me up as Leonard really affected me to the point where I think I cried after we shot the episode… It really dug up some old schoolyard stuff for me. ”

But although the experience brought back unpleasant memories, Galecki admitted that it helped him better understand the character he played, with whom he shared the experience.

” I had a way into Leonard and really began to understand him. ”

Galecki turned unpleasant experiences to his own advantage, using them in his long-running role as Leonard in The Big Bang Theory. A deeper understanding of the character certainly helped his creation, which not only entertained, but also helped viewers identify with his character.
