After 6: after “After Everything”, will there be another movie?
“After Everything” is the fifth and last film released in the saga. What will happen next?
If you are a fan of the love story of Hardin and Tessa Young, you will be intrigued as to whether after “After Everything”, the last film in the saga, there will be a sixth installment.
The first film “After” was released in US theaters in 2019 and quickly gained a fan base. The last one to be released was “After Everything”, or “Para siempre”, to end the love story played by Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford.
The fifth film in the saga, which for the first time is not based on a novel by Anna Todd, was written and directed by Castille Landon, the person responsible for the previous installment. However, her fans want to know. Will there be more of After?
WILL THERE BE A SIXTH MOVIE AFTER?
“After Everything” is the fifth and final film focused on the love story, so there will be no After 6. The good thing is that a prequel and a sequel were announced.
Castille Landon, director of “After We Fell”, “After Ever Happy” and “After Everything”, in 2021, told Teenvogue that two more films were planned: a prequel, which is based on the book Before, about the life of Hardin before he met Tessa, and a next-generation film that focuses on the couple’s children. Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford may not reprise the roles, given the timing of the installments. When will they be released? An official release date has not yet been announced.
WHAT IS THE BEFOR PREQUEL ABOUT?
“Before,” written by Anna Todd, is based on Hardin’s life before he met Tessa. Castille Landon explained that the film adaptation will be a “broader conversation” linked to what happens in the book, but with an expanded plot.
“He’s been through a lot of trauma in his family life and in his relationships, and [we’ll see] more of that mess before he meets Tessa, and how that experience changes him,” she explained. Since she introduces Hardin at a younger age, Hero wouldn’t reprise the role if he made it to the big screen.
HOW TO SEE “AFTER EVERYTHING”?
