Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay are reportedly set to get engaged after the TV chef’s daughter was seen cheering on her Olympic swimmer beau at the Paris Olympics.
Olympic hero Adam Peaty and his girlfriend Holly Ramsay could be hearing wedding bells soon, as it’s claimed that her celebrity chef father, Gordon Ramsay, has given the couple his blessing.
Insiders have revealed to OK! Magazine that Gordon sees Adam as the ‘perfect’ son-in-law. The champion swimmer and former Strictly contestant was visibly moved as he secured a silver medal for Team GB in the 100m breaststroke at the Paris Olympics, with his young son George, aged 3, and Holly cheering him on from the stands.
After his victory, an emotional Adam shared a passionate kiss with Holly before taking to social media to praise her as “the best partner” throughout his Olympic journey, hinting at their “exciting future together.”
Holly has been Adam’s rock during some challenging times, helping him recover from alcoholism and depression. The 2024 Olympics marked a stunning return to form for Adam, who had previously taken time away from swimming to focus on his mental well-being.
Adam faced a tough year in 2022, dealing with a serious foot injury and the end of his relationship with ex-partner Eirianedd Munro, mother of his son George. After enduring what he described as “three years of hell,” the 29-year-old athlete sought solace in his Christian faith to improve himself and become “a better person” for his now-partner Holly, who he praises for her vital support in turning his life around.
The smitten couple initially met in 2021 amidst his stint on Strictly Come Dancing with Holly’s sibling, Tilly Ramsay. At the time, Adam was still involved with Eirianedd Munro.
Adam parted ways with the mother of his child in August 2022. Then, nearly a year following their split, in June 2023, he and Holly publicly affirmed their relationship, posting charming photos from their Roman holiday.
