The wedding bells have rung onVirgin River, and now it’s time to clock in for some real drama and answer burning questions. Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack (Martin Henderson) are officially married and in the process of adopting their first child, but there’s one pressing matter before they can fully indulge in their marital bliss: What happened to Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley)?
Virgin River Season 6 ended with Jack going to check on Charmaine after she was a no-show at the wedding. He discovered her place destroyed, and something in the nursery made his jaw drop. We know Calvin (David Cubitt) is somehow behind this after threatening Charmaine to give him access to his twin sons all season. Did he just kidnap her, or is Charmaine done for? Her fate and the twins need to be addressed at the top of Season 7.
Charmaine is not the only one in a sticky situation in the upcoming season. We need to buckle up for another wild ride in Northern California. Here’s everything we know about Virgin River Season 7 so far.
Virgin River Season 7 release date
Virgin River Season 7 will debut on Netflix on March 12, 2026, with all 10 episodes available. This will be a slightly longer wait between seasons than the wait for Season 6; Season 6 was released on Dec. 19, 2024.
Virgin River Season 7 plot threads
Obviously, the Charmaine mystery is at the top of the list, but there’s a lot going on in this small town at all times. Doc (Tim Matheson) is going to have to defend his medical license against the big city hospital that wants to take over his clinic. Brie (Zibby Allen) and Mike (Marco Grazzini) are engaged, but there needs to be a more in-depth conversation about how Brie slept with Brady (Benjamin Hollingsworth) earlier. Mike knows about the transgression, but decided to propose anyway. Brady can’t really think about romantic drama at the moment, because his girlfriend, Lark (Elise Gatien), stole all of his money after she overheard him telling Brie that she’s the one for him. Meanwhile, Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale) and Denny (Kai Bradbury) are thinking about whether marriage is in the cards for them as they await the arrival of their unborn daughter. And that’s just the drama we know about! There’s surely going to be even more with a crop of newcomers coming to town in Season 7.
