Chicago Fire Season 13, Episode 15 ‘Too Close’ promises a death, and we’re not saying the little we get of the promo makes it obvious who’s gonna die, but we’re also not saying otherwise. Violet’s face says it all, especially because we see who she’s talking to: Pascal. Sure, Damon looks to be in danger, and so does Stella, but Stella’s “danger” looks to be something way less dangerous than Damon’s and the thing that makes it seem like it’s not Damon is that, well… Pascal wouldn’t care.
Only Severide would. So, if Violet is giving news to Pascal, or even looking at Pascal like that as she stands in the hospital, it’s clear it can only be one person, right? Monica Pascal. The synopsis for the hour even mentions an anniversary gift, so it makes sense. With Herrmann now getting closer to being ready to take over Firehouse 51, maybe this is the show’s idea of a storyline that will write off Dom Pascal? Or maybe she will just come “too close”?
Either way, we’re not feeling very good about Monica’s fate. Just saying.
