A Case Too Big to Ignore: FBI Season 8 Episode 8 Tackles a Story That Changes Everything md11

Journalists will put their lives on the line for a story, and that’s certainly the case on FBI season 8 episode 8. Now it’s up to the New York Field Office to get to the bottom of what was so important about a story that it had to be covered.

It all seems to start with the murder of a journalist, and this wasn’t some sort of accident. This was targeted, and it means that the team has to get to the bottom of it. At least they have Isobel back running the show after deciding that she wasn’t going to take the promotion she was offered.

Is a story worth your life on FBI season 8 episode 8?

The episode is going to bring up a question for many. Is a story ever worth the life of a journalist? Some journalists will say yes. The stories are too important to go uncovered, and usually, it’s because they are uncovering some sort of conspiracy.

It’s not clear what this murdered journalist is going to be covering, but her colleague makes it clear that they knew the story was dangerous. It was just too important to leave uncovered despite the threats to their lives.

Is this something to do with a gang or the government, because it could be either right? The best way to attempt to silence someone is to threaten their life, but not everyone backs down when it comes to that threat.

An assassination attempt on the prime minister?

However, the synopsis tells us that there will be more to the initial investigation. The journalist is killed while interviewing a prime minister, and it leads to the suspicion that the prime minister was the target. That could certainly be the case on a normal day, but the series is going a step further by making the journalist the target.

Meanwhile, we’ll get to see more of Gemma and OA together, but OA is struggling with moving this relationship forward. He struggles to let Gemma in when it comes to the job, because of how dangerous it is. Considering everything OA has seen and has been through, this is a normal and understandable response. Can Maggie help him realize that he needs to let her in?

Could it mean she runs because she can’t handle a relationship with an FBI agent? Well, maybe, but that means that she is not the right person for OA. And he deserves the best. My bet is that she’ll want to know the dangers so that she can prepare.
