Two New ‘Sopranos’ Books Are Coming – One Has Cocktails Straight Outta Bada Bing! (Exclusive!)

Both books will hit shelves this fall, in time for the show’s 25th anniversary

Almost two decades after its startling series finale, we still can’t stop talking about The Sopranos. Good news for those who can’t get enough of the mob drama: there are two books inspired by the show hitting shelves soon.

The Sopranos: The Complete Visual History and The Sopranos: The Official Cocktail Book are forthcoming from Insight Editions this fall, just in time for the show’s 25th anniversary — and has an exclusive first look.

The Sopranos: The Complete Visual History, written by bestselling author Ray Richmond, will explore the show and its stories through photographs and archival materials.

The visual history will also include exclusive interviews with a number of cast and crew members, including show creator David Chase and stars Edie Falco, Lorraine Bracco and Steve Schirripa, among others.

The Sopranos: The Complete Visual History looks back on the show’s influence on pop culture through a foreword from Rolling Stone TV critic Alan Sepinwell, as well as a moving tribute to leading man James Gandolfini, who died in 2013. Insight Editions calls the book, “the ultimate companion to a television classic and required reading for serious fans of the show.”

For those who want something to sip while they watch, or rewatch, the series this year, the second of the books, The Sopranos: The Official Cocktail Book, will make (and help you make at home) the perfect pairing. The book includes 60 recipes inspired by characters on the show, from Tony and Junior Soprano to Paulie, Carmela and Doctor Melfi. The drinks also take their cues from the show’s memorable locations and legends.

The book, which its publisher says “captures the world and feel of the award-winning series inside every glass,” will also include bonus material, including bartender tips and photographers from the show.

The Sopranos: The Complete Visual History and The Sopranos: The Official Cocktail Book will both hit bookstores on Oct. 15, and are available for preorder now, wherever books are sold.
