TERI POLO JOINS FBI: INTERNATIONAL
Teri Polo is set to join the cast of FBI: INTERNATIONAL later this season as an undisclosed character.
Polo will join the show during the final two episodes of the season and will continue her role throughout additional episodes if FBI: INTERNATIONAL is renewed for a fourth season.
The show, the third in the FBI series, follows the International Fly Team as they work missions across the world to neutralize threats and protect Americans abroad. The show is particularly appealing because the Fly Team can’t carry guns, meaning they must rely on quick thinking and brawn instead.
FBI: INTERNATIONAL is currently one of CBS’s most popular shows, drawing in an average of 9.1 million viewers each week.
Polo joins a cast led by Luke Kleintank, Carter Redwood and Vinessa Vidotto, along with Eva-Jane Willis and Christina Wolfe. Polo’s character may potentially take the spot of Agent Jamie Kellett—played by Heida Reed—who left the show during the Season 3 premiere, being transferred to a field office in Washington, D.C.
A regular on TV and in movies, Polo’s previous credits include CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, LAW AND ORDER: LA, THE WEST WING, THE BIG LEAP, THE FOSTERS, MEET THE PARENTS and THE CHRISTMAS HEART. Most recently, Polo joined NCIS for three episodes, playing Vivian Kolchak.
FBI: INTERNATIONAL is executive produced by Dick Wolf, Derek Haas, Matt Olmstead, Michael Katleman, Arthur Forney and Peter Jankowski. Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television produce the show in association with CBS Studios.
The show is part of the same universe as FBI and FBI: MOST WANTED. On April 4, the series had an epic three-hour crossover that brought all three teams together. It was only the second time the franchise had come together this way.
Movieguide® previously reported:
CBS’ FBI teams will join forces as the casts of FBI, FBI: INTERNATIONAL and FBI: MOST WANTED come together in a three-hour global crossover event on Tuesday, April 4.
“As the FBIs continue to dominate on Tuesday nights, we are excited to reward our devoted fans with this special three-hour global crossover event that will bring these three heroic—and popular—teams together for a second time,” Eric Kim, executive vice president of programming for CBS Entertainment and CBS Studios, said.
He added, “Our April 4 crossover event will be a non-stop thrilling experience that will keep viewers engaged in ways that only Dick Wolf’s ‘FBI’ world can.”
