Golden Bachelor’s Theresa hits back after fans spot Gerry getting cozy with Leslie
Theresa Nist defended her husband Gerry Turner after fans speculated he was getting cozy with his ex Leslie Fhima.
The Golden Bachelor’s Gerry Turner and his wife Theresa Nist reunited with other stars from the Bachelor Nation during The Bachelor finale and its After the Final Rose special.
While viewers watched Joey Graziadei speak on his proposal and love for Kelsey Anderson, fans were also able to get a behind-the-scenes look at the ceremony on social media.
On Instagram, Theresa shared a carousel of heart-warming selfies from the night as she was all smiles with season 28 hopefuls including Rachel Nance and Lea Cayanan.
In the snaps, the 70-year-old also posed alongside some of her competitors turned friends Susan Noles, Sandra Mason, and runner-up Leslie Fhima.
While her followers took to the comments with excitement, others questioned Gerry’s closeness with Leslie.
In one photo, Leslie, Susan and Lea all grinned at the camera while Gerry could be spotted in the background seemingly having an intimate conversation with his ex.
This mystified some fans including @Kristy.lynn.9849 who wrote: “Wow surprised to see Leslie with Gary and Theresa.”
As @ocean99944 remarked: “You left Leslie with Gerry back there?”
Theresa instantly shut down any speculation and hit back: “Love Leslie!”
Elsewhere other fans were pleased the two exes were on good terms as @Kaileyegrin commented: “ I love seeing Leslie and Gerry hanging out together.”
During the ceremony, it was confirmed The Bachlelor’s Jenn Tran would make history as the first-ever Asian woman to become the next Bachelorette.
While viewers were pleased and expressed their anticipation for the upcoming season, many questioned who would succeed Gerry after making his debut as The Golden Bachelor.
Fans have continued to make calls for Kelsey’s widowed father Mark Anderson to star in the spin-off after winning hearts during the hometown dates.
