Jonathan Rone Shares Shocking Way He Met GF
When Jonathan Rone was on The Golden Bachelorette, he immediately became a fan favorite. Not only was he attractive but he was well-spoken and he was kind. He seemed to vibe with Joan Vassos and she appreciated what he had to offer. They got along and viewers were hopeful that he might make it to the final four. Sadly, he did not and was sent home early. That left fans hopeful that he would be the next Golden Bachelor as he had the looks and the charisma but that did not happen.
Shortly after he left the show, he met a new woman named Michelle Zimmermann. She was a blonde bombshell and they were extremely happy together. As excited as fans were that he had found love, they were also upset that he could not be the next Golden Bachelor as long as his relationship stayed stable. Things seemed to be going well, especially around the holidays as they practiced giving back. They gave blood and shared what meant most to them which was really sweet. Now, Jonathan is sharing how he and Michelle first met.
It was not like they met out at a bar or an event but rather on the dating app, Bumble. According to Us Weekly, Jonathan Rone explained that he had just been kicked to the curb by Joan Vassos and was not feeling too great about himself:
“So Joan [Vassos] didn’t keep me along for the hometown visits, and so I came back to Iowa with my tail between my legs, so to speak. I started this whole journey looking for love and so when I came back, I was a little dejected, and so I kind of eventually went back online and I was just swiping and looking and then I came across Michelle’s pictures and she eventually contacted me. We connected. It’s been a beautiful thing so far.”
She was drawn to his eyes which he found very endearing and, though he would not say which app, he alluded to a bee sting. Therefore, it is clear that it was Bumble where the woman must message a man first.
