‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Renewed By Fox For Two Additional Seasons
Fiery Gordon Ramsay lives on at the Fox broadcast network.
Hell’s Kitchen, the veteran reality competition cooking show hosted by Gordon Ramsay, which premiered in 2005, is now confirmed for its 23rd and 24th editions. With the pickup comes a new filming location: Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, where one of Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurants is located.
“As my very first show on Fox, Hell’s Kitchen holds a very special place in my heart and it’s incredibly gratifying to have it renewed for its 23rd and 24th seasons,” said Ramsay in a statement. “This show just keeps getting better and better, and with Fox, ITV and A. Smith & Co. as my partners, you can expect even bigger challenges, stronger talent and more intense competition in Hell’s Kitchen in the years to come.”
Based on the earlier British edition of the same name, the two-season renewal will take Hell’s Kitchen past the 350 episode mark. Of course, this is just one of the many series hosted by Ramsay on Fox, which includes the still current Kitchen Nightmares, MasterChef, MasterChef Junior and Next Level Chef, and earlier entries Hotel Hell, Gordon Behind Bars and Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back.
“Ever since Gordon Ramsay and Hell’s Kitchen premiered on Fox nearly two decades ago, they have been mainstays of American television,” said Allison Wallach, President, Unscripted Programming, Fox Entertainment in a statement. “Hell’s Kitchen was our first series with Gordon, marking the launch of one of Fox’s most successful creative partnerships ever and an important cornerstone in what has become global television’s most powerful cooking brand.”
Hell’s Kitchen is produced by ITV America’s ITV Entertainment in association with A. Smith & Co. Productions. Gordon Ramsay, Arthur Smith, Kent Weed, Kenny Rosen and Bernie Schaeffer serve as executive producers.
