Golden Bachelor mystery solved as hopeful quit show for heartbreaking reason

A prospect on The Golden Bachelor abruptly left the show after a severe emergency was called to her attention.

In an unexpected twist on The Golden Bachelor, 60-year-old contestant Marina, who had secured a rose in the premiere episode, was missing from the next one.

Viewers at home were confused when Marina failed to appear in the second episode of the season of the ABC show.

Viewers at home were confused when Marina failed to appear in the second episode of the season of the ABC show.

The show’s host, Jesse Palmer, revealed Marina’s exit to Gerry Turner during the second episode, stating: “Marina had a situation with her family back home.”

Via a FaceTime call organized by Palmer, Marina explained to Turner: “I’m a single mom, and I had to choose my family and support my family’s needs at this time.”

Turner expressed his understanding and respect for her decision.

While Marina’s departure was quite sudden, the episode was not short of memorable moments.

Early in the episode, contestant Theresa enjoyed a one-on-one date with Turner.

The duo drove through a highway in Los Angeles driving a convertible, with Turner struggling to turn on the headlights throughout the drive.

At a diner, the two bonded over shared tragedies: Theresa spoke about her late husband of 42 years, and Turner opened up about losing his wife, Toni, in 2017.

Turner’s first group date involved a romantic cover photo shoot. Some tensions arose when Leslie expressed frustration over Natascha choosing an outfit she had wanted.

The emotions continued when Nancy, dressed as a bride for the shoot, became emotional recalling her late husband, Mark.

Recognizing her distress, Turner awarded her the group date rose.
