Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen undergoes ‘landmark’ shake-up for new seasons to create an ‘unparalleled culinary showdown’

Fans can expect to see a whole new look to the show when it returns

FOX has renewed Hell’s Kitchen, its Gordon Ramsay-hosted reality competition series, for two more seasons.

The network also announced there was a major change being made for the show’s new seasons.

In January, Fox finished airing the 22nd season of the beloved series.

Now, it’s been confirmed that both Seasons 23 and 24 are on the way.

Along with sharing that renewal news on Tuesday, Fox also revealed Gordon’s series will be moving to a whole new location.

Previously, Hell’s Kitchen had mostly filmed in Los Angeles, as well as a couple of seasons in Las Vegas.

When production on the new episodes starts up, it’ll take place in Connecticut at the Foxwoods Resort Casino, Deadline reports.

The resort houses one of Gordon’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurants, which opened up in 2023.

This will mark a major first for the show as it is set to custom-build the show’s new set right on the property.

Foxwoods CEO Jason Guyot opened up about the resort becoming the new location for the show in a statement to the outlet.

“Gordon Ramsay’s fiery star power set against the backdrop of Foxwoods’ stunning property guarantees that the next two seasons of Fox’s show will deliver an unparalleled culinary showdown and viewing experience for Hell’s Kitchen fans,” he said.

Gordon also opened up about the announcement in a statement, though he focused on the reveal of his show’s big two-season renewal.

“As my very first show on Fox, Hell’s Kitchen holds a very special place in my heart and it’s incredibly gratifying to have it renewed for its 23rd and 24th seasons,” the host said.

He added that fans can “expect even bigger challenges, stronger talent and more intense competition in Hell’s Kitchen in the years to come.”

Hell’s Kitchen is not the only one of Gordon’s shows to earn a renewal this month.

GORDON’S MAKING MOVES

His other Fox series, Food Stars, has been renewed for a second season.

Like Hell’s Kitchen, it will also have a big shake-up for its new season.

The first season was filmed in California, but Season 2 is being moved to the United Kingdom.

Gordon, who was born in Scotland but later moved with his family to England, hosted a UK version of Food Stars originally but it was canceled in 2023.

The U.S. edition launched around the same time that its UK counterpart was axed.

Now, the newer version is heading overseas but will still feature U.S. contestants.

Along with Hell’s Kitchen and Food Stars, Gordon’s other Fox series include Next Level Chef, MasterChef, MasterChef Junior, and Kitchen Nightmares.
