It’s official, Chicago Fire is once again NBC’s most-watched show (at least for now)
Chicago Fire shows no signs of slowing down, claiming the top spot as NBC’s most-watched show of the season so far!
We’re now about two months into the new fall season and, despite being in its thirteenth season, Chicago Fire is showing no signs of slowing down!
TVLine has released the current list of the Top 25 programs on broadcast through Nov. 18 and Chicago Fire is sitting at the top of the leaderboard for NBC, ranking as the network’s most-watched show of the season thus far. Season to date, Chicago Fire season 13 is averaging 7.7 million viewers in the Live+7 totals this season making it NBC’s top show across scripted and unscripted offerings. But wait, there’s more exciting news for the show!
Not only is Chicago Fire NBC’s most-watched show at the moment, but it’s also the eighth most-watched show of the season among all of broadcast’s programming. Of course, there is a lot of time still left in the season, but we imagine Chicago Fire is going to hold onto its place at the top of NBC’s leaderboard which should bode well for the show’s future at the network.
The future is also looking bright for the rest of the One Chicago franchise, which rounds out the Top 3 most-watched programming list for NBC!
Chicago Med is just a hair behind Chicago Fire, averaging 7.3 million total viewers this season making it the No. 10 show on broadcast. Meanwhile, Chicago PD is averaging 6.8 million total viewers putting it at the No. 12 spot on the list, meaning all three One Chicago shows are among the Top 15 most-watched shows of the year so far!
In fact, the One Chicago shows are three of only five NBC shows that rank among the Top 25 shows of the season with The Voice and Law & Order: SVU rounding out the list at No. 15 and No. 23, respectively.
It’s honestly proving to be another successful season for Wolf Entertainment. Not only are the three One Chicago shows as well as Law & Order: SVU all in the Top 25, but all three of CBS’s FBI shows are on the list meaning that Wolf Entertainment shows account for nearly a third of the Top 25 shows on broadcast this fall!
So how do the One Chicago shows stack up against the rest of the Wolf Entertainment lineup this season?
While Chicago Fire is the top show for NBC this season, it’s sitting just a few spots behind FBI at the moment which is averaging 7.9 million total viewers and ranks as the No. 5 show of the season. The list rounds out with Chicago Med (No. 10), Chicago PD (No. 12), FBI: International (No. 14), FBI: Most Wanted (No. 18), and Law and Order: SVU (No. 23).
It’ll be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out, but for now, the 2024-25 TV season is shaping up to be a successful one for Wolf Entertainment!
