Behind the Scenes of “The Golden Bachelorette” Striptease Date: What TV Didn’t Show

This week on The Golden Bachelorette, viewers were treated to an unexpected and playful group date where nine of Joan Vassos’s suitors put on a Chippendales-style striptease performance. The event, held at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood, was more than just fun and games — it supported a meaningful cause: Stand Up To Cancer.

Though fans got a glimpse of the cheeky show on TV, what made it to air was only a fraction of what actually happened during hours of filming. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at some memorable moments that didn’t make the cut.

A Group of MVPs

In typical Bachelor fashion, group dates often feature a “winner” — someone who impresses the most and earns extra one-on-one time. At the start of this spicy date, host and former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe announced that the man who embraced the challenge best would receive special time with Joan. Nervous laughter filled the room, with one contestant joking, “We don’t have to reveal everything, right?”

But when the performances wrapped up, Joan found it impossible to choose a single winner. “I was supposed to pick just one, but they all put in so much effort,” she shared afterward. Ultimately, she declared every participant an MVP. “I was relieved when the producers said I didn’t have to pick. I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.”

Runway Training with the Pros

The men didn’t go into this challenge unprepared. Chippendales dancer and strip instructor RK was on hand to teach them classic moves like the “body roll” and “the shampoo.” He also gave tips on how to shine during solo moments on the runway. His advice? Strut with confidence and pause at the end to create a memorable moment. “If you see a camera, don’t just stand there like a ham sandwich,” he warned.

Unseen Moves and Mishaps

Mark, a 57-year-old Army veteran, chose a firefighter costume for his act but hit a snag when it was time to strip off the jacket. He struggled for several awkward seconds, but his perseverance paid off as he finally managed to shrug off the garment and continue the performance. Despite the wardrobe malfunction, he kept his composure and delivered a strong finish.

Keith, another standout performer, donned a construction worker outfit complete with a tool belt. At the end of his routine, he playfully dropped the belt in front of Joan, then turned around and made a show of bending over to pick it up, giving the audience (and Joan) a cheeky view. Keith later revealed that he’d always dreamed of being a Chippendales dancer. “Back in the day, I went to a costume party dressed just like this,” he reminisced. “It was great to be in that outfit again, even if I don’t look quite like I did 30 years ago.” For the record, Keith looked fantastic.

A Feel-Good Moment

Throughout the evening, the men were not only having fun but were also moved by the cause they were supporting. The light-hearted performances brought smiles and laughter, but the underlying message of raising awareness for cancer made the date especially meaningful for everyone involved.

The night ended with Joan praising the men for their enthusiasm and courage, and the bond between her and the suitors grew even stronger after the playful date. It was a memorable experience that showcased the lighter side of dating at any age.
