With just hours to go until the next episode of CBS’s hit series Tracker starring Justin Hartley, we have a new preview for S02E06: “Trust Fall” as Hartley visits The Talk. Written by Travis Donnelly & Dominque Holmes and directed by Jennifer Morrison, tonight’s episode sees Colter (Hartley) meet a retired cop (Brent Sexton) – the former searching for missing campers and the latter hunting a serial killer. But before you see what Harley had to say about her co-star and the episode, we have one more important update. In our Season 3 recap below, you’ll also find the official synopsis and images for S02E07: “Man’s Best Friend” — yes, we have an adorable puppy that needs rescuing.
“Our writers have done a great job of weaving a procedural element into our procedural show, so you get a story that ends happily every week. But at the same time, there’s a story that’s been going on for 10 years, he [Colter] has been searching for this missing woman… it’s haunted him for 10 years, he won’t let it go, he’s tormented by it. And you start to see a little bit of that,” Hartley shared on the daytime talk show about tonight’s episode. “It’s Brent Sexton; he’s a fantastic actor. He’s incredible and he came in, we wrote this character as a retired cop. A really great character on the page, and then he came in and elevated the whole thing. It was great to work with that guy.” Here’s the clip – followed by our updated recap of Season 3 (with a look at S02E07: “Man’s Best Friend”):
