9-1-1: Lone Star’s Shocking Trailer Leaves Fans Worried About ‘Tarlos’
9-1-1: Lone Star is back with a shocking season premiere. FOX has dropped a new trailer for season five, teasing the “biggest threat yet,” but it’s already causing concern among fans.
This time, Captain Owen Strand and his team are the first to arrive at the scene of a tragic train crash, but things get worse. In the wreckage, a giant vat of chlorine gas threatens to create a toxic cloud over Austin, Texas.
Sending fans into a frenzy, some have commented on Instagram about the fate of fan-favorite couple TK and Owen. “Please don’t let my Tarlos boys get hurt,” one person replied. “Great, we finally get to see TK’s innocent face, where’s Carlos now?” another asked. “I feel like we’re going to put TK in the ICU again,” a third person noted.
TK and Carlos, who finally had their fairytale wedding in the season four finale, are set to face some serious drama. According to the latest synopsis, Carlos and TK’s marriage will be “tested as Carlos becomes obsessed with solving his father’s murder.”
Adding to the obstacles, TK will also encounter “someone from his past who could change his and Carlos’ lives forever.”
Ahead of the season five premiere, Rob Lowe — aka Owen Strand — spoke about the show’s train crash storyline, which will span two episodes.
“Yeah, just the scale and the spectacle of the train derailment and the hardship of shooting that scene. I mean, I loved it. I found it really challenging. I loved the challenge of it, but it was a brutal, back-breaking process and I was like, ‘Okay, I can do this. I’m 60 years old, let’s [fuck] it.’
“I loved the outcome of it,” he continued. “I loved how big it looked. It looked like a movie set. Yeah, I think people will be hooked.”
Consisting of 12 episodes, the fifth season is set to be a divisive one at 126. The synopsis also teases Judd leaving to care for his son, forcing Owen to look for a new lieutenant – a matter that’s further complicated by the fact that Marjan and Paul have both applied.
For Tommy, while the character hopes to progress in her relationship with Reverend Trevor, the road to happiness isn’t exactly smooth.
While fans are eagerly awaiting the next series, Sierra McClain, aka Grace Ryder, will be absent from the episodes. Details about her departure are still limited, however, with Deadline claiming that her departure comes after some “cast renewal drama.”
