“First Look at 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 5 – Meet T.K.’s New Step-Father!”

After much anticipation, 9-1-1: Lone Star will introduce T.K.’s (Ronan Rubinstein) stepfather, Enzo, in its final season. Lost Henry star Ian Cusick will play the long-teased character in 9-1-1: Lone Star season 5. After T.K.’s biological father, Owen (Rob Lowe), became estranged due to 9/11, Enzo became a father figure and played a large role in raising T.K. throughout his childhood.

The images shared by TV Insider offer the first look at Cusick’s long-teased character, who is described as “impossibly handsome, sociable, educated, wealthy, and suave.” Enzo will debut in the episode “Kiddos” airing on November 11, on T.K.’s 30th birthday. along with his half-brother Jonah and “takes Owen by surprise.” The first images show Enzo meeting T.K.’s husband, Carlos (Rafael Silva), shaking Owen’s hand, and Owen meeting Jonah. Check out the first images: Showrunner Rashad Raisani told TV Insider that casting Cusick was “easily one of the best ‘chosen ones'” in the show’s history because the star’s natural charisma made him “the perfect stepfather for T.K.” and “the perfect antithesis to Owen Strand.” The showrunner revealed that his only regret was not having more seasons to explore “this game-changing character.” See what he had to say below: The casting of Henry Ian Cusick as Enzo was easily one of the best ‘chosen ones’ in Lone Star history. His charm and soul made him the perfect stepfather for T.K. And his star power and wicked sense of humor make him the perfect foil to Owen Strand. My only regret is that we didn’t have more seasons to see this incredible actor explore this game-changing character.

Despite his seemingly polite demeanor, the first image still captures some tension between Enzo and Owen. Enzo has replaced Owen after he was unavailable. His arrival will stir up some tension between Owen and T.K., but most importantly, this “game-changer” is here to nudge them both toward having the difficult conversations they’ve been avoiding since T.K. was a child. In the first image, when T.K. introduces Carlos to Enzo, all parties appear comfortable and sincere.

It’s not hard to see that T.K. and Enzo enjoy a genuine relationship. While Enzo’s appearance is a pleasant surprise for T.K., the same can’t be said for Owen. With the upcoming episode’s synopsis teasing a physical fight between the two, it seems like Enzo’s appearance could be a trigger for Owen. Whatever the fight may be, the two will need to patch things up, and at the same time, a conversation will need to take place with T.K. It looks like a lot of healing is going to happen on 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 5, Episode 7. It’s not hard to see that T.K. and Enzo have enjoyed a real relationship.
