Realizing that playing dumb won’t work, Reenie changes tactics and plays the damsel in distress. She softens her appearance, making puppy dog eyes, smiling, and biting her lower lip. “I just don’t want to get lost anymore,” she hounds the savior in many men. Eventually, the guard lets his guard down and agrees to accompany her to clear her aura. She continues to make small talk as she pulls his badge off him and drops it behind her for Colter to find. He picks it up and gets a structure, saving himself the exertion that comes with physical confrontation.
This is the first time Colter and Reenie have worked together in this way, and it would be interesting to see some of the calmness in this method. Michael Rady guest stars as Elliot, Reenie’s partner on the vacation.
Watch “Noble Rot” on CBS on Sunday, November 3 at 8 p.m. to see what Colter and Reenie get up to. Catch up on previous episodes of Tracker on Paramount+.
