“Will Sofia Pernas Join Husband Justin Hartley for More Episodes in Tracker Season 2?”

Justin Hartley’s hit show Tracker gave his wife, Sofia Pernas, the chance to reprise her role as Billie in season 2 — but are there plans for more appearances?

Tracker, which premiered in February, introduced Hartley, 47, as Colter, who travels the country helping solve missing persons cases in exchange for rewards. Pernas, 35, joined the show a month later as Billie, Colter’s ex who had previously conned him out of money.

That one-off appearance left viewers wanting more, leading to Pernas’ return in the Sunday, Oct. 27 episode of the hit CBS series. Colter teamed up with Billie to solve a case in her hometown, and by the end of the day, they were reflecting on their childhood trauma.

“I want to do something positive and lasting here,” Billie told Colter about confronting her past. “The thing is, I was young, but I knew what my mother did was wrong, and I didn’t stop her. I loved her and hated her at the same time.”

Colter hinted that he also had some “dark family” secrets but didn’t share them with Billie. Instead, he suggested that they “don’t talk about it,” which opens the door to an unfinished conversation that Billie and Colter could address in the future.

“They have a great scene where she really opens up to him,” Hartley told TVLine in a joint interview with Pernas, 35, about the pivotal scene before it aired. “The way you acted it was great. Your acting showed that you’ve never shared [this information] with anyone, ever.”

Luckily for fans, this won’t be the only time Billie appears in season 2. Hartley has made it clear that Pernas will be back for more from here.

“She’s definitely coming back. We have some pretty exciting stuff for her to do next year,” Hartley told Deadline in May. “She’s coming back multiple times next year. We’ve built a really great group of actors [who] hopefully will be ready to come back, because we’d love to do more with them. We have so many stories to tell with all of [them].”

Hartley later spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about working with Pernas, adding in July, “She’s amazing. I mean, if I had the choice, I’d spend every minute with her. … She elevates the scenes, and honestly, it makes my job easier. But yeah, working with her is amazing.”

“There’s a little bit of animosity, but it’s also like, ‘Are they going to fix things? Are they not going to fix things? You know, can you trust her? I don’t know if you can,’” he continued. “I mean, she hasn’t proven that you can trust her, that Colter can trust her. So we’ll see how that plays out. There’s just a lot of, you know, a lot of room to work with that relationship.” Tracker airs on CBS Sundays at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes will stream the following day on Paramount+.
