“Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey Set to Return: More Romantic Drama Awaits in Bridgerton!”

Bridgerton fans will get to see Kate and Anthony live happily ever after.

In the new trailer for Bridgerton season three, we see Kate (Simone Ashley) and Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) share a steamy scene together—confirming that the newlyweds will be joining the new season.

However, we know they’ll be back; in 2022, Ashley confirmed that she and Bailey will be returning for both Bridgerton seasons three and four. “We’re coming back! Kate and Anthony are just getting started,” Ashley said at a dinner celebrating South Asian culture hosted by Netflix, according to Deadline. In the books, Kate and Anthony have four children; their first child, Edmund, was born a year after they were married. Maybe we’ll see Kate and Anthony become parents in future seasons?

Ashley continues, “We have the amazing Jess Brownell, who is taking the lead as showrunner in season three. In season two, there was a lot of push and pull between Kate and Anthony, there were complications with the family, and then they found each other at the end. I think it’s just getting started. I want to see Kate let go a little more and play a little more in season three and swim in that circle of love together.

After marrying Anthony, Kate is now a Viscountess, and Ashley says we’ll get to see her grow into this new role. “She’s in charge of the family now and she has big boots to fill. I think she can do that,” she says. “I want to keep that softness and vulnerability for Kate, for sure, and she can share that with Anthony. I’m just excited for her to have a home and have a family. I’m excited to see her grow up.” I think I want to see Kate become a lot braver, less stubborn, and stronger in heart.”
