Dear Readers, Bridgerton Season 4 has officially begun production and “The Ton” (I mean me and the Reddit pages I follow) are buzzing about Benedict Bridgerton, aka Luke Thompson, finding love in a hopeless place with Sophie Beckett, aka Yerin Ha. Obviously, we’ve been respectfully curious about Luke since Bridgerton first entered our lives, and it’s time to dig into his dating history. We know that… not much, because he’s a mystery.
First off, let me go ahead and put to rest those of you who are thinking there’s some completely obvious chemistry between Luke and Yerin. As far as we know, they’re not together—although there are some cutesy vibes in this video (the way Luke looks at her… too much for me).
However, there are rumors that Luke is dating Harriet Cains, who plays Bridgerton’s Philippa Featherington. And it’s worth noting that her on-screen aesthetic couldn’t be more different from her real-life aesthetic. First of all, no, she doesn’t actually have bright red hair.
The Daily Mail first claimed that Luke and Harriet were a couple back in June 2024, but here’s the thing: neither of them confirmed the speculation, so it’s technically still a rumor.
